Ferrartis Rail Division:
Ferrartis Rail Division is the lead within the group based at the Group Headquarters in North Duffield, York. United Kingdom. The Rail Division oversees the group’s ventures, complemented by its ‘in house’ Proto-type and Product Development Facility (Ferrartis Product Development).

Ferrartis International Logistics:
Based within a 5 mile radius of the Group Headquarters, Ferrartis Logistics was set up to control the through flow of component parts for production / sub-assembly, material quality control and pre-delivery inspection.

Ferrartis Storage Solutions:
Initiated in early 2019 and currently based at Group Headquarters, Ferrartis Storage Solutions and partner Unipart Rail, project manage and facilitate the growing demand within the Rail Industry for off site storage of train spares, utilising the Ferrartis range of bespoke equipment, thus enabling safe, clean and efficient storage of railway components.

Ferrartis International:
Servicing a growing need for Ferrartis Developed Equipment on a Global scale, Ferrartis International along with its Distribution Partner Unipart Rail have secured contracts in various countries. Along with the additional partnership of Traction Group Ltd in Wellington, New Zealand, they have developed new systems to achieve Seismic Compliance of the TITAN Dynamic Stacking Bogie System, specifically manufactured locally in New Zealand for Auckland Transportation. Other international clients include SNCB (Belgium) & SBB (Switzerland).

Mick Brown
Managing Director

Mick has 50+ years’ experience in the Rail Industry both as an employee and supplier, starting his Railway career as a craft apprentice with British Rail at the carriage works in York, UK. Possessing a vast knowledge of the Railway Industry focusing on people and processes, he is the ‘Eternal Questioner,’ often outspoken and sometimes perceived as controversial! Micks passion for finding the best way to execute any job by engaging a holistic approach has resulted in many successful solutions and new products.

Micks creativity and flair for innovation provides an undeniable asset to Ferrartis Groups strength and reputation for rapid problem solving, proto-typing and development of new products to the marketplace.

Jamie Powell
Global Operations Director

Jamie having managed bespoke fabrication facilities for 20+ years has worked his way up from fabricator to Global Operations Director. Jamie oversees the operations of the Ferrartis Group divisions both in the UK and abroad, managing the work from tender to delivery, setting priorities and ensuring quality, on-time delivery as well as engaging new production facilities worldwide. Having a major input into New Product Development alongside Mick, Jamie's experience and attributes are drawn from meeting challenges on major civil sites such as sub-stations, railways, schools, hospitals and water treatment works. Jamie has worked with a number of blue chip clients including:
